The Jets use a device in training camp for pass-rushing drills that has a long arm coming out of a post and a bell attached to the very end of the arm. The idea is for pass rushers to beat their blocker then ring the bell.
The Jets have not been ringing the pass-rushing bell very much in the regular season in recent years.
The Jets finished 28th in the NFL in sacks last year with just 28 total. A year before, they were 29th in the league with 27. It is a crucial area the Jets must fix for their defense to turn into the dominant one they always speak about becoming.
