Willie Colon couldn’t pretend the Snoopy Bowl means anything, while Ryan Fitzpatrick briefly did, sarcastically declaring his excitement for Saturday’s preseason game against the Giants.

And though the local teams meet in what could be an incredibly meaningful affair on Dec. 6, Eric Decker said he believes the first battle will matter because it could give the Jets an idea how the season might unfold, with the first-team offense making its final — and longest — appearance of the preseason.

“I think this weekend will be a true test, honestly, to see where we’re at,” Decker said following the final day of training camp Thursday.
