The Jets will have to wait until preseason games to see how rookie Trenton Cannon, Andre Roberts, and Lucky Whitehead perform under pressure, as they determine who will return punts and kickoffs. Cannon is an intriguing option, but he has very little punt return experience. He is more experienced with kickoff returns. Because of the no-pads nature of spring practices, it was tough to get a read on this position battle.
Who is the primary back? Bilal Powell or Isaiah Crowell? Or might the Jets evenly split carries between the two? And who plays on third down? The Jets like Eli McGuire a lot, but what will his role be?
