Way too early 2018 NFL Power Rankings: Gap widening between Eagles and rest of the league after free agency?

The Jets failed to land the biggest fish in free agency, quarterback Kirk Cousins, despite entering the offseason with over $100 million in cap space. However, after trading up to the No. 3 overall pick in the NFL Draft, GM Mike Maccagnan will get one last chance to mine a franchise quarterback who could turn the long-term fortunes of the organization quickly on an upward trajectory.

The Dolphins struggled mightily last season after losing quarterback Ryan Tannehill during the preseason, and proceeded to release Ndamukong Suh, Mike Pouncey, Lawrence Timmons, and traded away Jarvis Landry. Signing Danny Amendola gives Tannehill a slight upgrade at the slot receiver position, but there's little reason to think that 2018 will be much more than a transition year for the Dolphins.
