PHILADELPHIA — Jace Amaro may have played his final game as a Jet.
The third-year tight end entered Thursday night’s 14-6 preseason finale loss to the Eagles on the roster bubble and did not have a strong game. He had three catches for 24 yards, but also had a fumble and a dropped pass.
“He started [training camp] out fine and then he got banged up a little bit [and was] in and out,” coach Todd Bowles said. “He came in today and made a couple of catches here and there. We’ve got some tough choices to make.
