CINCINNATI -- It apparently takes a lot to shock Victor Cruz.
At a time in the NFL when players are suspended for deflating footballs, losing fingers from fireworks explosions and participating in brawls during joint practices, Cruz said it was only "a little surprising" to hear news of Geno Smith's broken jaw at the hands of a teammate in his own locker room.
"Obviously being in a locker room you never expect something like that would happen, but, you know, nothing surprises me in this day and age anymore, man," he said. "It's unfortunate for Geno, it's unfortunate for the Jets staff and organization.
