Turns out Ryan Fitzpatrick is Jets’ perfect Tom Brady defense

The Jets have found the latest method to slow down New England’s offense: a pair of 13-play scoring drives.

“I think we only had three drives in the first half,” Tom Brady said after the Jets knocked off the Patriots 26-20 in overtime Sunday at MetLife Stadium.

He was partially right. The Patriots did get the ball a fourth time, but oddly chose to run out the clock before the half.

And even when the Patriots’ offense was on the field, the Jets managed to limit the damage.

They didn’t allow a third-down conversion until the fourth quarter.
