FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — Trumaine Johnson returned to practice Thursday after missing nearly a month with a hamstring injury. Now the Jets hope he can return to being one of the NFL’s top playmaking cornerbacks.

Adam Gase remembers not wanting to throw the ball to Johnson’s side when he played for the Rams. Gregg Williams was the Rams’ defensive coordinator when Johnson played his best football.
