Last season, the New York Jets had so many penalties, it left coaches and fans furious when it became too much of an issue. From the offensive line having offside penalties to defensive backs extending plays due to them as well, it became just too much to handle at times.
Hopefully, head coach Todd Bowles can nip this in the bud now in training camp before it becomes an issue again this upcoming season. Of course, that is what training camp is for to work out things now to avoid major issues later. So far, on each day of training camp, the Jets committed six penalties each day which lead to penalty push-ups by the entire team.
