NFL locker rooms after the fourth preseason game have an identifiable personality, just like the game itself. Usually there is an air of tension as players, regardless of how they performed or how their team did, come to grips with the prospect that many of them will be looking for work in a couple of days.
But that's not what I found in the Jets' locker room following the twos' and threes' solid 24-18 win over the previously unbeaten Eagles on Thursday night at MetLife Stadium. I'm sure the angst was there below the surface, but just about every player had a stoic approach to life in the NFL at this time of year.
