Todd Bowles sparks Jets with halftime rant, but will his message carryover?

CLEVELAND -- Everybody loves a fiery halftime speech, right? It makes for a good story because we're fascinated by those Knute Rockne moments.

New York Jets coach Todd Bowles isn't a modern-day Rockne, but he hit the right notes Sunday at First Energy Stadium, which began as No Energy Stadium for the Jets. According to several players, a seething Bowles ripped his team for "sleepwalking" through the first half. The Bowles line that resonated most with the players was "Don't come back without a win."

Later, Bowles downplayed his presentation by telling reporters, "There was no big speech to be made.
