CHICAGO -- Jets coach Todd Bowles tried to spin positive after his team lost yet again on the road Sunday, 24-10 at the Bears.
He raved about the Jets' fighting spirit in the loss, even though they never appeared to seriously contend, particularly with their shorthanded offense.
"Very proud of the way they fought and stayed together," he said. "It's one of the first games the entire year that we stayed together as a team and fought collectively."
Which all sounds great. But at some point, Bowles will need to start showing some tangible progress with this rebuilding team.
