In a move that doesn’t come as much of a surprise, the Jets have added defensive lineman TJ Barnes to their practice squad after clearing waivers.
Barnes was let go make room for safety Ronald Martin earlier this week.
The team also announced the signing of project offensive lineman Lawrence Okoye, a former British Olympic Discus thrower and rugby player.
We have signed OL Lawrence Okoye and DT T.J. Barnes to the practice squad and released CB Jeremy Harris from the practice squad.

The Jets listed Okoye as an offensive lineman despite having entered the league as a defensive lineman having never played a down of football in his life.
