Titans' Kendall Wright out against Jets with injured ribs

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kendall Wright will not play Sunday against the New York Jets after injured ribs kept him out of practice all week.

Wright was hurt last week in Tennessee’s win over Jacksonville, and this latest injury adds to a disappointing season for the receiver who has a career-low 33 receptions for 390 yards and three touchdowns. Wright missed three games this season with a sprained MCL in his left knee.

His absence means the Titans (3-9) will play three rookie receivers — Dorial Green-Beckham, Tre McBride and Andrew Turzilli - against the Jets (7-5) along with veteran Harry Douglas.
