The Jets roster is about to undergo massive changes. General manager Mike Maccagnan has a bunch of decisions to make about who should go and who should stay.
One of the most interesting player decisions he must make is on inside linebacker David Harris. The 32-year-old is entering the final year of his contract in 2017. It calls for him to be paid $6.5 million, none of which is guaranteed. So, if they cut him, they would save that entire amount against the salary cap.
The case to keep Harris is that his salary is not that exorbitant.
