The Jets apparently remain unhappy with their quarterback situation.
The team is scheduled to work out journeyman QB Josh Johnson on Thursday, a source confirmed.
Johnson was released by the Bengals on Tuesday. He has played for seven seasons with three different teams, making 29 appearances including five starts. Johnson has five career touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
Johnson lost out to A.J. McCarron in the battle to be Andy Dalton’s backup with the Bengals.
The Jets were in the market for a veteran quarterback after Geno Smith was lost for the beginning of the season to a broken jaw.
