The Jets are supposed to be building something this season. At least that’s what we’ve been told. It wasn’t as much about wins and losses as it was about having a plan and showing promise. Ambivalence was supposed to be replaced with attitude, and being competitive in every game was to be a given. That was the plan.
We saw none of that in the Jets on Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium. Instead we saw an epic embarrassment; a 41-10 loss to the Bills, who started a quarterback who has been with the team only for two weeks.
