Terrelle Pryor’s days with the Jets are expected to come to a close.
The team is planning to release the wide receiver, who has a groin injury, a source confirmed. ESPN was first to report Pryor’s potential exit from the Jets.
The injury could keep Pryor out for a while, but according to the source, he could return to the Jets when healthy. Pryor will, however, be able to sign with another team.
He is coming off catching touchdown passes in each of the past two games, including a 7-yard score last week in the Jets’ win over the Colts.
