PITTSBURGH -- A look at what's going on around the New York Jets:

1. The pits: The Jets return to the scene of perhaps the most crushing loss in franchise history -- the 2011 AFC Championship Game at Heinz Field. It's hard to believe, but only five players remain from that 24-19 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers -- David Harris, Nick Mangold, Darrelle Revis, Nick Folk and Tanner Purdum. The Jets figured to be a perennial contender after back-to-back appearances in the title game, especially with a promising young Mark Sanchez, but that was their last playoff game.
