After being held back by poor quarterback play for over a decade, the position is now a strength for the New York Jets, at least in the short term. They have their starting quarterback in future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers, and they learned from their mistake last season by signing Tyrod Taylor to back him up.
The Jets are in a good spot as things currently stand. However, general manager Joe Douglas may not be done adding to the position.
Logan Robinson of Nole Gameday reported today that the Jets will meet with quarterback Jordan Travis from Florida State in the coming weeks.
