The Jets are taking a closer look at Central Florida receiver Breshad Perriman. The 6-2, 212-pound wideout is visiting the Jets on Monday, a source confirmed.
Perriman is an intriguing prospect. Though he was unable to participate in Combine drills because of a hamstring injury, Perriman generated even more buzz after he clocked 40-yard dash times of 4.24 and and 4.27 at his pro day.
The skinny on Perriman is that he can make eye-popping, acrobatic, home-run plays, but he also has a tendency to drop catchable balls. He also needs to fine-tune his route-running.
