After getting beat by Chris Owusu on a fade route during WR/DB 1-on-1 drills, third-year cornerback Dexter McDougle got some priceless advice from his head coach, who is no stranger to the gridiron.

“Coach Bowles told me I was too far off the ball,” McDougle explained to me. “He said in the red zone you want to move up a little closer to the ball so you have room to get your feet moving. Because if you are too far off, you don’t want to back up too far into the red zone.
