One of the names most commonly mentioned as a premier offensive coordinator candidate for the New York Jets is Greg Olson.
Olson, 59, is known for his 14 seasons as an offensive coordinator in the NFL. Most recently, Olson spent four years as the Raiders’ offensive coordinator from 2018 to 2021. He served as a senior offensive assistant for the Rams in 2022. Olson would bring experience to the position that New York did not have with the young Mike LaFleur.
While Olson is yet to officially be reported as a candidate the Jets are interested in, his name has been heavily rumored due to his connection to two people: Robert Saleh and Derek Carr.
