Muhammad Wilkerson is not the only defensive lineman missing Jets OTAs.
Sheldon Richardson has also been absent from the team’s practices this week. This portion of the offseason program is voluntary, so it is common for guys to miss a practice or two, but Jets coach Todd Bowles said Richardson has been “in and out” this offseason.
“He’s been here half the time, half the time he wasn’t,” Bowles said.
Bowles did not sound annoyed about Richardson’s absence, but he did say he was unsure of where Richardson was. On the other hand, Bowles said he knew wide receiver Brandon Marshall was going to miss Wednesday’s practice, but would return Thursday.
