Giants tight end Will Tye was the only undrafted position player named to this year’s PFWA All-Rookie team, which was announced on Tuesday. The Stony Brook University product who began the season on the Giants’ practice squad was promoted in Week 4 and wound up catching 42 passes for 464 yards and three touchdowns.
Two other New York football rookies were named to the team: Giants safety Landon Collins, a second-round pick who finished with 112 tackles, and Jets defensive lineman Leonard Williams, who had 63 tackles and 3.0 sacks. Williams was the Jets’ first-round pick, selected sixth overall.
