MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Jets came down to South Florida and Sam Darnold and the offense wilted in the heat.
Darnold had his worst game as a professional against a team that had been offense-friendly this season. The Jets rookie quarterback threw a career-high four interceptions, including one that went for a pick-6 Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium, and two other passes that were right in a defensive player’s hands but they dropped them.
The Jets were inept offensive and lost their third straight game, 13-6, to the Dolphins.
