That’s one less concern for Adam Gase.
Sam Darnold is expected to practice on a limited basis on Thursday after having his toenail removed on Tuesday. The second-year quarterback, coming off his “seeing ghosts” performance in Monday night’s ugly loss to the Patriots, wasn’t listed as a practice participant on Wednesday.
Darnold was out on the field, though, and Gase said he was fine and should play Sunday against the Jaguars.
“Unless he [hurts] something, he’ll be all right,” Gase said.
The bigger concern may be Darnold’s mental health after his four-interception nightmare against the Patriots in which he was caught on an ESPN mic saying, “I’m seeing ghosts.
