A lot to like about Darnold's practice. He dropped a beautiful throw in to Chad Hansen, along the sideline. Darnold threw an even better ball — deep, across the field, to the far sideline — but Tre McBride couldn't hang on. Nothing wrong with the throw. Just a drop. Maybe Darnold's best throw we've seen this spring so far. He aired it out and perfectly placed it. His first touchdown was a 20-yard throw on a post route to Jordan Leggett. Another perfect throw. Dropped it right in again. Darnold's other touchdown wasn't as remarkable. He hit Jermaine Kearse on a short throw in the front of the end zone.
