CLEVELAND — Sam Darnold pointed a finger of blame at Sam Darnold.
“It’s not acceptable the way I played,” Darnold said.
He said he didn’t feel he was decisive enough.
“I really felt comfortable throughout the whole game,” Darnold said. “I just made stupid mistakes in the fourth quarter and some missed opportunities throughout the whole game.
“I have to play better, and that’s on me.”
Darnold finished 15-for-31 for 169 yards.
“I feel like I’m responsible for the stagnant offense we had,” he said.
Darnold was intercepted twice in the last two minutes trying to overcome the heroics of Baker Mayfield, the 21-17 comeback winner.
