Sam Darnold’s streak of touchdowns on the opening possession came to an end on Sunday. But welcome November trends carried on the New York Jets‘ second go at it.
Darnold took matters into his own hands on the final part of a 12-play, 96-yard trek, running it in from four yards out to give the Jets their first lead of the afternoon against the Oakland Raiders.
The ensuing extra point made it 10-3 in the early stages of the second quarter.
