Saleh’s Sloppy Jets Drop 10-9 Decision to Rookie Bo Nix

Give Robert Saleh all the talent in the world and he’ll still find ways to lose a home game on long rest to a rookie quarterback.

The Jets were flagged for fifteen penalties (12 accepted) for 91 yards and had a blown coverage on defense to allow the Broncos to score the only touchdown of the day in a 10-9 loss at home.

Prior to this contest, Aaron Rodgers owned a career record of 13-0 when playing at home with nine days to prepare. That record is now 13-1.

One of the most penalized teams in the NFL last season, nothing has changed under Saleh as the Jets are among the worst offenders again in 2024.
