Jarrett, who entered the NFL with Philadelphia out of Temple, was released by the Eagles and signed with the Jets on Dec. 31, 2012. In his two seasons with us, he has played in 37 games (seven starts).
Last season Jarrett had his most productive game as a pro in our 20-13 victory over Pittsburgh at MetLife Stadium. He had the first two interceptions and the first fumble recovery of his career, added a sack, and posted a career-high 10 tackles. He was the first Jet to have three takeaways in a game in nine seasons and was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week.
