The staring contest between the Jets and Ryan Fitzpatrick continues. But Fitzpatrick is apparently finding that there isn't much of a market for his services beyond Florham Park.
The Broncos—perhaps the only team without a starting quarterback and with a willingness to consider signing Fitzpatrick—are "unwilling to pay the salary that the quarterback is seeking," according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
NFL Media's Michael Silver reported on Thursday that the Broncos had reached out to Fitzpatrick.
This leaves Fitzpatrick with few options beyond returning to the Jets for something close to what the Jets are offering.
