Rookie Quinnen Williams' results do not yet justify picking him so high

It is entirely too soon to make any definitive conclusions about Quinnen Williams, the Jets’ third overall pick in the 2019 draft. Judging a player’s career after just 12 games and eight starts is neither fair nor feasible, because a much larger sample size is required to make that kind of evaluation.

But it is appropriate to suggest that Williams must show more — a lot more — in the coming years to justify the team’s investment in a player with such high expectations.
