Ronald Gasser, the man charged with killing former Jets running back Joe McKnight in a 2016 Louisiana road rage incident, was found guilty of manslaughter by a Jefferson Parish jury on Friday.
The verdict followed 7 1/2 hours of jury deliberation and six days of testimony from state witnesses.

Gasser, 56, admitted to shooting McKnight, 28, as he sat in the driver's seat of his car and McKnight stood at Gasser's open passenger-side window on Dec. 1, 2016. Gasser was charged with second-degree murder. He said the shooting was in self-defense.
