While addressing the media following the team’s 23-17 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh emphasized his deep appreciation for the team’s relentless effort, stating they continued to “battle” throughout the contest despite the loss.
“You’re always going to find silver linings after a loss. We are not ready to talk about them right now, but I do appreciate the way that our guys continued to battle,” Saleh said. “They fought throughout and gave ourselves a chance. We were right there with a chance to go score a touchdown at the end of the game to win it, and unfortunately, that didn’t happen.
