Welcome to the beginning of the 2020 Jets season.
The 2019 season is essentially over at 4-8, but the Jets have four more games to play, starting with Sunday’s game against the 3-9 Dolphins at MetLife Stadium. These games are no longer about what they can do this season, but getting a jump on next year.
After last week’s humiliating loss in Cincinnati, the Jets could pack it in, but the players and coaches said that won’t happen this week.
“We’ve got a good group of guys,” veteran wide receiver Demaryius Thomas said. “Guys could have gotten off point when we were 1-7 and they didn’t.
