NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan took a playful jab at his former team and their co-tenants Thursday by bringing up a geographically accurate fact — and a sore subject in two states.
When asked by WHEC-TV in Rochester about his participation in WFAN radio’s June 3 charity softball game at Yankee Stadium, Ryan slipped in a zinger: “Yeah, I doubt they’ll still give me (a standing ovation) there. But it’ll be good. You know, hey, we’re the only team in New York anyway. So I thought I’d help out that other city down there.
