Reports: Jets To Work Out Journeyman Quarterback Josh Johnson

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — The Jets might add yet another quarterback before the season opener on Sept. 13 against the Browns at MetLife Stadium.

According to multiple reports, New York is scheduled to work out quarterback Josh Johnson on Thursday.

Johnson, a fifth-round pick of the Buccaneers in 2008, has bounced around since being drafted out of the University of San Diego. The 29-year-old has spent time with the Bucs, the 49ers, the Browns, the Bengals and the Sacramento Mountain Lions of the United Football League.
