NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) — People with knowledge of the decisions tell The Associated Press that the New York Jets have re-signed tight end Kellen Davis, and that wide receiver Kenbrell Thompkins has signed his restricted free agent tender.
Davis signed a one-year deal Monday, according to the person who spoke on condition of anonymity because the team hadn’t announced the move.
Pro Football Talk first reported Davis’ deal.

The 30-year-old Davis had three catches for 18 yards and a touchdown while starting nine games and working primarily as a blocking tight end in the Jets’ offense.
