We all know that Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets have been linked since the start of the offseason. The other quarterback heavily connected to the team has been Derek Carr. Over the weekend, Carr was seen dining with Jets head coach Robert Saleh and offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett in New Jersey, part of a weekend visit.
It could just be due diligence between the two sides, but per ESPN’S Jeff Darlington, the meeting was “very positive”. Speaking on ESPN’s Get Up, Darlington said the Jets feel like Carr is a “great player” and they believe he can lead the team to a championship.
