The Baltimore Ravens are releasing starting center Jeremy Zuttah on Thursday after not being able to trade him, a league source tells ESPN's Jamison Hensley.
Even though Zuttah made his first Pro Bowl last season, the decision to cut their three-year starter was more based on performance than cost-cutting. The Ravens create $2.392 million in cap space but they will carry $2.2 million in dead money (unless Baltimore designates him as a post-June 1 cut).
