What was a surprise was the timing: Coples, a 2012 first-round draft pick. was cut loose on Monday, just one day after a 24-17 loss at the Texans in which he played just five snaps. And now ESPN.com's Rich Cimini is reporting that an incident on the team plane—Cimini's report provided no additional details—ultimately led the Jets to make the move.
