The first major free agency shoe for the New York Jets has dropped: Mike Evans is no longer on the market.
The perennial 1,000-yard receiver signed a two-year deal with Tampa Bay worth $26 million per year.
Before free agency begins next week, the Buccaneers and five-time Pro-Bowl WR Mike Evans reached agreement on a two-year, $52 million that includes $35 million guaranteed, per his agent @DerykGilmore.

This contradicts previous reports that Evans was going to test the free-agent market.
