Chris Herndon is lucky to be alive right now.
The Jets rookie tight end, who was charged with a DWI after being involved in a car accident in June, crashed in horrific fashion. Police body-cam footage obtained by TMZ shows Herndon’s car flipped over on its side after the accident on Route 80 West in Rockaway Township, N.J.
The Post’s Brian Costello reported in June that Herndon, driving a Nissan Armada, totaled a Toyota FJ-40 Land Cruiser.
TMZ also has video of Herndon failing the field sobriety test, leading to his DWI charge.
