The New York Jets, who sent a five-man contingent to the recent Penn State pro day to scout Christian Hackenberg, among others, want to see more of the intriguing quarterback. They have scheduled a pre-draft visit at their facility for April 10, according to a source.
Hackenberg is one of the most polarizing players in the draft. He has a powerful arm and great size (6-foot-4½, 223 pounds), but his production declined steadily after a sensational freshman year. By all accounts, he impressed at his pro day, perhaps the reason for the Jets' follow-up interest.
