The Patriots are the ones doing the talking this year — at least on Twitter.
New England took a shot at Gang Green on social media using an old standby: the Butt Fumble. The two rivals square off at Gillette Stadium on Sunday.
“This seems relevant. #TBT,” the Patriots account tweeted on Thursday morning, along with a picture of Mark Sanchez running into Brandon Moore’s backside.
Ouch.
Jets fans might have thought the Colts’ fake punt attempt overshadowed the Butt Fumble, which took place on Thanksgiving in 2012, and took the crown for dumb plays against the Patriots.
