FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- "Patriots Week" was apparently too dull for New England.
It was the Patriots -- and not the Jets -- who delivered the first salvo of the season, posting a "Throwback Thursday" photo of the infamous "Butt Fumble" on the team's official Twitter account with a caption that read: "This seems relevant #TBT."
In contrast, the Rex Ryan-less Jets have been relatively quiet all week. Keeping in line with their low-key head coach Todd Bowles, the Jets (4-1) have expressed confidence in their team, but also respect for Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and his future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady.
