If the Jets intention today was to have Aaron Glenn and Lance Newmark signed on as their new head coach and GM respectively, then things didn’t go as planned. However, if the goal was to break bread and exchange figures, then that got done.
The Jets reportedly made Glenn a “substantial offer” to be the team’s new head coach. However, Glenn left the facility and hopped on Woody Johnson’s private jet to head back to Detroit.
It was reported earlier in the day that the Jets wanted to keep their former star cornerback in the building to get a deal done.
