ATLANTA — The NFL draft can be a stressful time in a football player’s life, but it probably won’t faze Washington tackle Kaleb McGary.
McGary has been through more adversity than the NFL can throw at him. He has dealt with a heart condition that required three procedures to fix, his family lost its farm after falling on hard times and then their new home was damaged last January in a fire.
Through it all, McGary has learned how to handle each challenge life threw at him.
“Life experiences translate into everything,” McGary said last week at the Senior Bowl.
